Shimano 105 shifting at under $1,000 is essentially unheard of from any other source. The TRP HY/RD brakes use a clever cable-actuated hydraulic design that outperforms pure mechanical discs. The trade-offs: heavier frame, relaxed geometry, external cable routing, and a less refined ride. But for the money, nothing touches it. Available at Decathlon stores with in-store assembly.
